The New Martyrs of Dabar-Bosnia and Mileševa are a collective commemoration of clergy, monastics, and laypeople of the Dabar-Bosnia and Mileševa regions of the Serbian Orthodox Church who were killed during the Second World War and the postwar communist period. The dossier dates their suffering to the years 1941 to 1946.
Rather than a single individual, the commemoration gathers a synaxis of victims drawn from the episcopal jurisdictions of Dabar-Bosnia and Mileševa. They are venerated together as New Martyrs, a designation the Serbian Orthodox Church applies to those who suffered for the faith during the upheavals of the twentieth century.
