Martyrs Theocharis and Apostolos of Arta

Theocharis and Apostolos are commemorated as new-martyrs of Arta, a city in the region of Epirus in northwestern Greece. According to the synaxarion they confessed Christ under Ottoman rule and were put to death for the faith, and they are remembered together as local saints of Arta.
